Nice swallowtail, but it would be better if you could get closer. The blurred foreground branches are distracing as well. |

Very springlike. The blurred leaves in the foreground actually frame the shot, so they don't bother me like they would if there were only one. The greens are pretty. I wish the zoom were more tight so we could see more details of the butterfly. |

I've been trying to capture a black swallowtail all summer long with no success! You get 10 points for your success |

The badly focused branch in the foreground is distracting, but nice scale and idea. |

Beautiful focus/DOF. I think a closer crop would improve the overall image though. Still, a strong entry. |

Nice capture. I think it would be better without the distracting branch and leaves in the foreground. |

Lovely shot, might struggle in the "Branch" category since there's mainly leaves and the butterfly dominating but don't let that depress you, it's a good photo |

I don't mind the out of focus leaves at the bottom. They fram the shot. That out of focus arc across the top really spoils it for me. |

Although I don't like butterflies, I like how you used the leaves to frame your subject matter. That and the fact that the butterfly itself is not centered in the photo. |
