| I beleive it's the colors that threw me off here the most, they semmed dull and lifeless. Maybe your white balance is off. You might want to ask for an in depth critique so you can get someone's opinion that knows more about theat subject than me. I wasn't too enthused with the overall composition, but my have not noticed that if the colors had been more pleasing. |

| Adding a hair light to the dandelion would have helped to separate it from the lily. I don't care for the warm color cast. A slightly closer crop would have rendered this an abstract (which I like, but they often don't do well at DPC). I really like this concept. |

| wow, great image. It lacks in sharpness and the shadow of the thing in front of the flower is really distracting. Use some cross lighting to fix that, that is use a light source from the left and the right both at 45 degree angles. If that was just sharper and that shadow wasn't there this would be my pic for number one. mabey use a unsharpen mask next time |

| I had to look at the title to figure out exactly what I was looking at. The pistal on the lily made me do a double take :) I would have like to have seen a bit more depth of field so slighty more in focus in the frame. Nice though. |
