 I had taken this picture with a background of black velvet. I sprayed the flower with water that was mixed with glycerine. I kept spaying with the water mix and taking multiple exposures until a drop fell.I did use a remote single flash. the lense was 50 macro.

Great composition. Would love to see a larger version - tough to get much out of the focus/DOF at current size.
