I almost forgot to participate this challenge in time, and had to rush the shooting phase (took about 30 minutes altogether). Later on some playing with Photoshop (Levels, Curves, Hue/Saturation, Brightness/Contrast) and there it is.

The idea is far from unique (that's probably why it occured to me :p) and it was really difficult to get the splatters look good. I predict a score around 5. Oh, no animals were harmed in any way! A dozen ice cubes had a hard time though. :)

While it's all a little blurred, I think the milk on the outside of the glass is really neat.

Good splash but I don't like it when it is out of focus ...

A very neat splash. Sharper would have elevated the value of votes. Bumping up on good effort.

6 - Like the effect you have captured here and the toning. Criticism; not sure about the crop/framing. Whether horizontal would have been best, given the 'ledge'/base(?), but I do like the height you have. Perhaps just more 'space' on the right hand side, more 'black', may have made this a better shot in my opinion. Minor, but the patterns on the glass detract slightly, and the edge of the 'ledge'/base, I'd like to see cropped out or 'used' more, if there is potential there. Also like the way you can see the rim of the glass too. Focus I am not sure on as, as I said, I do like how the rim is clearly shown, but a little sharper on the 'flying flow' would be good, perhaps that is just an angle issue, not sure.

maybe should be cropped a litle closer, but it's an awesome picture

it almost looks as if the glass is wearing a milk skirt. Good splash.

Good picture but a little out of focus - just my opinion.

Looking for 3 things in a "milk splash" picture...1) Is the object in focus? (we can't see it here). 2) is the splash well frozen (yes, but not all in focus), and 3) is the splash defined against the background (yes). The lack of focus, which is probably a limitation of the equipment you had available (not enough lighting) is too bad and keeps this from getting too high a score. Still, I'll give it a 7.

The cup is wearing a crown of milk! Very neat. I love this photo. The background isn't white like most others so I can actually SEE the milk. The placement of the cup toward the bottom leaves the milk room to reach up to the sky. I do wish the milk was a bit more in focus though.

i like the framing of this one a lot... and i'd give higher score if it wasn't so soft...

Very good attempt at capturing the splash. Just could be a little sharper in focus.

seems a tad under exposed and not sharp.

Nice how the milk seems to be clinging to the outside of the glass!

Looks like a tall crown. I'd have it sitting on a white or black surface and have more negative (black) space on one side. The sill or wood arm it's sitting on is a tad distracting. I'd really work on a crisp focus as well. The glass and splash are a touch blurred.
