 Had to shoot quick. The ice cream is melting. First time I tried a shot like this. Inspired by DPC photographers.

Glasstop. one light source from below, reflector from above.
Color levels, USM, cropped for web.

A nice effect. Sharper lighting would have given this image a better edge in this challenge. Bumping up on clever composition.

Took me a second there.

I like the how the different curves are going in different directions. Adds a subtle, but nice contrast. My only thought is that if the ice cream (?) were a different color, it would have a bit more impact.

The icecream is underexposed, and could be whiter. Would easily be solved by uncovering the spoon

If it weren't for the title, I'm not sure that I'd be able to figure out that this is melting ice cream. (It is, isn't it?) I like the backlighting effect, but the picture really doesn't do much for me.
