I really really like the pose, angle etc., but the image suffers from overexposed highlights. Maybe a liitle less contrast. Good work.

I think the flower helps balance the composition well. I think I would like the skin tones a little darker to add more shadow and tone range.

certainly see the desperation, but what is the flower for?

I'm not sure I understand how a sunflower illustrates despair.

Love the high key look and the composition is great.

Great pose, but your lighting being so direct and in line with the camera makes the shot appear flat. Not sure the flower adds to the composition. Nice work

I like the twisted pose and the lowered head and the light treatment generally. I mourn the loss of detail in her shoulder and hand.

Seems a little bright. But I like the look of this shot.

bumping up, actually a lot more to see if you look for it. that's why I come back up to 3-4 times.

Nice image.
Shouldn't the petals be lying all over the ground with one left on the flower? Just an idea I had.
I think the top left & right cropping is OK, but somehow the cropped foot is wrong.

Nice lighting, vision, would have like it better with her foot all the way in photo and possibly a different flower would have made it more aluring and dramatic at the same time. still nice shot.

High contrast seems to detract from the intended mood in this shot. Creative pose.

I like the crop, having a lot of the sides of the model clipped adds an interesting dimension to the photo. The lighting is good. IThe skin is a little blown out in some spots but that adds to the contrast between the model and the black background, it works well. Good dof and focus, I like the crispness of the hair. The white fleck in front of the knee, once noticed, is distracting (sorry to nit pick). Very nice capture.

Nice black and white photo. For me the highlights are a bit too bright, but very well done.

Interesting and well done composition. Tones well done for subject. Crop good. Lighting slightly harsh but works for the most part. POV and DOF great. 6 - good luck in the challenge!

Nicely done. IMHO the highlights on the fingers and shoulders are a bit blownout. 8

Very powerful pose, the light may be a bit harsh on her shoulder, but that may have been intentional for you. Because of the title, I'm confused about the flower, it's a bit outside of the challenge, and is distracting . It does fill a void nicely however.

I am not to fond of this crop. I think maybe too much was cropped out. I like the flower, If this is a self portrait, I admire you for submitting. Good luck.

Overall great shot. I feel sorry for her heart being broken, you can see her pain in this photo. Bravo!

Good pose, and well framed. I really like overexposure when it is done right. I think you got it.

I love the pose... the fabric is somewhat distracting from the image. The highlights appear a bit blown too.

The flower compliments the theme of the image, as does the pose. The lighting is a little too harsh, it has blown out details that in an image like this could have given a darker more mournful effect.

I find the flower a non-essential to the feel of the shot. It's almost a distraction as it's more in focus than part of the woman's body. The lighting is a tad too harsh for my taste. I hope you find this helpful.

Title doesn't seem to fit and the crop is very tight. Otherwise good lighting and tones.
