This guy was in the Boy Teen Traditional I think. He was one of the best dancers there.

This is the first I've edited out of 600 I took today at the National PowWow. Its going to take me weeks at I 'pushed' my camera as the light was really lousy for long lenses. I shot this at -2.3 exposure, then brought it back in RSE. I still had a lot of noise, so I NIed, then took it into photoshop and desated the background and sharpened it. I then took it into Digital Pro 10 to get rid of some of the noise spots from the sharpening using the smallest dust tool. Then I went back into NI to get rid of any effects of the DP then into Photoshop for convert and save to web. Each time NI converted it to a JPEG, I resaved as a TIF to keep additional noise and pixel crap down.

I'd love to see the rest of your work from the Pow Wow!! I missed them all this summer due to work schedules conflicting.. typically Pow Wows are the highlight of my summers.. my soul is peaceful in the dusty and smokey air, with the jingle of the regalia, the kids running free, the sound of laughter that can always be heard somewhere nearby and the drums beating constantly in the background...

Your image posted here.. brings it all alive for me.. Great capture!!

Wow...looks like a lot of work, but the end result sure is worth it. I like this one even better than the last one I commented on. The selective desat is just amazing for this shot. Very impressive!

Great image. The stop movement is great. I love the rich bright colors.

Wow - you went through a LOT for these shots. But I think it paid off. Really nice effect with the selective desat here. The shot is a little busy because of so many colors and so much detail, but I still think it works. Nice job.
