Last minute entry, not my fault it didn't rain for weeks. By the look of the grass I am sure you believe me.
I took this picture at great peril to myself; ducking lightning bolts; all for your pleasure.
Good news is my camera is splash proof so I didn't worry about getting wet. Hope you all enjoy.

With the Advanced Editing rules in effect, I'd have been very tempted to clone out the cars -- they "break the mood" just a bit for me.

The blown out sky is a distraction. I think you could bump up the colors and contrast a bit to help make it pop. Not bad composition.

Looks a little like rain but not really enough going on
Sorry

Can't see any rain, just as a fog coming off the roof at the left. Not much interest for me in the subject matter, just looks like a shot off a front porch.

I hope you got a lot of rain. That grass is really burned. The picture does show an obvious downpour, but perhaps more saturation would have brought out color a bit better. Also try in black and white, where you can show great contrast without compromising the detail of the picture. Even toning it to give a creative edge might be in order.

there's not really anything of interest to the picture, nowhere for the eye to be drawn to.
No wow factor.
Sorry :-)
but at least it's in focus and meets the challenge!!!!

This just seems like a snapshot. Maybe if you cropped out most of the buildings and concentrated on the trees???

Yes, it seems that grass does need the rain :)

This lawn needs more of a flood than rain :).

a bit bland and cluttered. the blown sky in particular isn't working for me. the cars in the distance are also distracting. focus seems a bit soft. 4
