And post -result, I'd just like to confirm to some later commenters that this WAS taken outside, not in a studio, with no glycerine involved (I wouldn't know where to start) it was simply a shower via a hosepipe. So there.

Well...they could be raindrops.....
Of course no sooner had I finished this, we had a downpour - first drop of rain all week !
I'm using this as a practice with the PS tips I've learned from Heida's thread...all new to me, so hope its reasonably well received.

The white balance seems as bit off for this studio shot. I'm not sure about the orientation of the petals though. Drops are captured perfectly. 5

This is a great picture. I think it would be beautiful in black and white also.

Taht is sharp with full of details. It's not too bright, I like it. Bumping to 7.

love the desaturated feel of this. Great job. My only problem with this is that I dont believe it to be an outdoor shot, when water is mixed with glycerine, it causes the water to ball up in droplets much like in your photo, so based on that I can only give you a 6 based on the topic at hand. if this were a free study, you'd get a 10

Very nice shot with nice detail I would prefer the petals in the background to be more in the frame

The white on white with a hint of yellow is lovely. I love the macro. Great job.

I'm reviewing the thumbnails again and this is still an eye catching shot. It's amazing how many colors you can get with white. The intensity of the drops is perfect. This needs to be a huge poster!!! 9

Really nice shot, but I think it may get lost in the deluge of water droplet covered flowers in this challenge. Your focus & DOF are good, but not sure it has enough "pop" to rise above the masses.
