Great shot, you have a eye for the view and you know how to work the camera.. cant believe such a small lense is that the kit lense?

Hi,
Thanks for the comment. As for a filter, there was none used. Just an average shot in the middle of the day and a lot of PS work. I know most people don't like a lot of PS work but I liked this picture and felt something was there and I worked on it until I felt I achieved what my vision was of the tree.

I love the darkness of this. gives a spooky feeling :o) i think the grass blur is perfect for this photo. sky and clouds are great. did u use a filter?

Scott: This is awesome! Love the processing - with the exception of the blur on the foreground. IMHO, the grass should be sharper in the closer areas of the shot. That's a fantastic tree and the sky is dead-on right. It's a great image regardless of my simple observations...

love the sky and tree treatment. however the foreground kind of bugs me. it should be more gradient into the darkness, rather than abrupt shadow. just my two cents.
