The range of colors is absolutely amazing! Your composition is great, the viewers eyes is directly drawn to the storm/shower/whatever. I like the sunlit mountains in the background. Great shot!

I am such a sucker for landscape photos. Especially ones with interesting skies. This is a LOVELY dynamic sky, and the visible distant rain creates a nice bridge between the ground and sky. the lighting on the grass in the far distance is nice as well. added to my favorites.

Beautiful setting and I love the look down the valley. The change from colourful foreground to a more monochromatic-ish horizon is nice. Looks like a great place to take a hike.

What a beautiful vista. Your colors couldn't be any richer or more lovely. The misty rain is just stunning. 10

Again, I'm reviewing my top pics and this is definitely a contender. The overall hues are so delicious and inviting - I can hardly stand it. I'd like to know if you just used curves, or filters or what. Can I have a 16 X 20?????

Nice composition, but looks overprocessed to me. The colors aren't quite right (mountains too blue, ground too yellow-brown).

Beautiful landscape and lighting. The colors appear oversaturated and unnatural, though.

I like that I can look a long ways up the valley & while the land is big, the sky is bigger! Nice colors.

beautiful landscape.

Beautiful and evocative. Lovely composition / crop. Restrained processing ... it might have been tempting to overprocess that sky, to wring more 'drama' out of the scene, but you resisted the temptation, and thereby retained its charm. Bravo! 9

Super image, but I would bring out the highlights of the foreground to make it a stunner.

Beautiful, but I'm bothered by JPEG artifacting and lack of detail here. This file size could be 3 or 4 times bigger here. I like the square crop.

'8' - Met the Challenge (in my opinion). A breathtaking shot. Criticism; undecided if it is too dark, not sure. Whilst the rain is not 'tangible', in my opinion, it's evident in the distance and thus you have likely captured a unique shot of rain for this Challenge. Great 'wide' angle and I will be looking to learn what lens etc once the Challenge is over. Very nice colors. Perhaps, a cropping a little of the upper (bluer) part of the sky may have made it more dramatic but not sure on that. Good shot. edit:typo
