A long exposure with a .9ND filter.

This was taken at the old Coast Guard outpost. This corridor was quite spooky and the darkness of it along with the bright window at the end of the hall provided a great backdrop for a test image with my new ND filter.

Post processing included converting from RAW. Used the "draganize action". Adjust levels and USM. Bumped up the contrast a bit. I added the frame for an old time 35mm feel.

Note:
Look closely. There's a figure hidden in the bright daylight. Thanks to the ND filter.

Perspective seems a tad off to me, but love the overall composition. Great shot. You managed to achieve a unique balance of color tones and shadows/exposure. Good work!

Tagged! Fantastic shot, almost missed the figure at first glance, great lighting and b/w conversion, love the contrast. Agree with the kodak thing being removed, but adding to fav's anyway.

That is creepy. I really like the compostition. If I could change one thing it would be to make the figure a little darker. Not much but just a tad so it was noticable more quickly.

I love the lighting, it really draws you into the photo. And so spooky...I almost missed it at first! I'm generally not big on a lot of the "ghost" shots I've seen here, but this is very cool. Well done!

Nice. Very dramatic play of lighting and shadows. Effect fits the image well, IMO.

Good shot for that type of processing - works well here I think. A human at the end of the hall would add interest.
