| I used a remote to take this pic sitting in front of a window to get good lighting. I probably took like 50 pics before i found one i liked. I didn't have to crop it too much other than to take out the background. |

| Very nice. The only distraction is the catchlight in the eyes.A slight rotation --just enough to miss the window and this would be exceptional. |

| You have windows in your eyes! That is probably, though, why the light is so nice and soft and flattering. I like the expression, and how you've filled the frame...I wonder though if I'd have preferred the hand on the other side of your face. Good job. |

| This is a very nice photo, but it seems self conscious. We're always so hard on our own looks that self portraits often end up artifically emotionless. I'd rather see an expression of some kind. |

| Good job with a "difficult subject." I'm curious as to how you shot this (timer, manual, remote) an how much you had to crop the original frame (if you have time after the voting's over). |

| Nice pose with just the right touch of softness. Good job. I do think you could tweak the levels a little bit brighter (using a histogram) and the large reflections in the eyes tends to mask them somewhat (IMO). |

| Nice. I would have voted slightly higher if you balanced it more towards white. That way you'd have the black blacks, and the white whites. Excellent job! |
