 Hmmm...I wonder what it was that I used to do before digital photography took over my life? Ah yes, baking. Made some damn fine cookies and other baked goods. The cookies were somewhat memorable as they are still in demand. But the oven broke, the apartment is a mess and I have to get cleaned before I can get someone in here to look at it...trust me...a real sty...that is going to be taken care of, actually and truly soon thanks to my 'Clean Sweep' addicted sister.

This is one of the few staged studio type shots I like in this challenge. I think the tipped bowl is why - it creates a little visual interest and isn't what's expected. The light and shadow is well done and black and white would be the only way to go with this image. Good use of dark background - it makes the items pop out at you. My only complaint is it's a tad busy. You might lose one or more item and I still think it would work. I like the spatula being the tall straight "soldier" of the group.
