I like how the lighting of the chess peices allows you to see its reflection in the glass chess board.

That is really neat...I've never seen a chess board like that!

excellent work... the blue tone works well, but the light on the glass king in front seems to be a little harsh...

Oh! If ONLY you rotated that front king 90 degrees so that he was facing the camera, this would be a 10. I like the use of light here, the composition, especially the ghostly queen in waiting on the side of the board. Very nice!

Crisp blue light looks really good and the step stages into heavily blurred BG looks nice too. Good job.

Nice shot here... I love the lighting, especially the way it appears as though the king is lit from within. While the shallow DOF works well and is perfectly appropriate here, I find the pieces to the left of the shot distracting with the combination of lighting and lack of focus. On the other hand, the other (white) pieces are much more subtle, and less distracting. --8

Now I got you :-) I guess not many people on DPC have chess sets like this one! Choice set-up, although the game hasn't been completely lost yet.

Great shot. Personally I think the nearest piece appears over sharpened, but every else it quite good. I love the colours you have chosen.
