 I've been very busy this week, so this was thought of, set up, shot and processed starting at 11:00 pm Tuesday night.

Set up in my living room, in front of my fireplace. I used a cut glass pie plate, and focused on the glass in macro mode. The room was pitch black.

Several diferent exposures were tried, up to 15 secs but this one gave the best lighting.

Very little post processing: very slight level adj in PS, Neatimage, then resize and border in PS. That's it.

Great work - this will rank very highly this week. It's on-topic, is crisp, has lovely colour and even includes glass! Well done on a lovely shot.

Very nice image. Good use of pattern. I also like the range of color that parallels with the darkness of the image.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking at, but it does feel like glass! I like the symmetry and the color -- it really sets an almost churchlike mood.

very dark and abstract, which isn't a bad thing, although its hard for me to identify what the glass object is.

Very effective and interestng use of lighting. I like the shots in which people used the properties of glass to achieve creative effects. Nice work.

Wow, now this is just a stunning picture! You've got some great lines going here, and the light source is placed perfectly to accentuate those lines.
