a good exposure despite the sillouetted wood. maybe that's how you wanted it to be, but... it's really hard to get a good sky exposure with dark objects in the foreground without over exposing the sky (and w/o spot editing =), but when you meter this, you could get away with a stop (f stop that is) or two lower (that means more exposed) w/o over exposing the sky and you would get more detail in the wood. The best option of course, would be to have some artificial light or a reflector to illuminate the table top. hope this helps.

nice colors and lighting. i don't think you needed so much (or at all) the railing, but its not too obtrusive.

Maybe just a little too much sky, but overall a good picture, uh, pitcher, whatever.

great color, a real sense of the translucence of the glass. Wish yo had gotten it without the black on the bottom. Maybe a thin, horizontal slice of black, but this large and at the angle detracts from the composition.

It takes no imagination for me to know this is a "Picture of a Pitcher". Good job I like the originality of it. 8

I like the stark contrast of the red against the blue, you also seem to have resisted the attempt the teak hell out of levels in PS ( as the sky looks perfectlt natural ) - just wish we could move or so something with what the pitcher is standing on.

Oooh this is pretty. It looks like cranberry glass. I like the composition and placement of the pitcher.

Well conceived shot. I really like the framing and the color contrast. I think, though, the base is out of place; could have used either color or texture. Overall a great shot.
