 Cut a mushroom and arranged it as in the picture. Used a tripod with a shutter remote and a 15W bulb.

Love the title. Nice capture of a texture that has wonderful highlights and shadows.

Good shot - well composed. Shows a lot of texture and DOF. Unfortunately though, it just doesn't grab my attention like I think it could. Not sure exactly what it is (the bland colors - but that's the right color for a mushroom) - I can't seem to put my finger on it. Maybe it's just persona taste. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good shot. I just don't think it's an 8-9. 6
