Siblings? How'd you get them to do that? Mine would have been pushing each other in the water. Very nicely done.

Touching subject taken from an interestng perspective. Very strong and well composed. B&W works well.

Fits the challenge topic exceptionally well. In general it is technically well done. Theer are a couple hot spots on the image you might consider burining in. One is at the upper left corner and the other are a couple spots on the left side child's pants. While you are burining in things you might consider additional dodge and burn to add more tecxture to the tocks and water. It will give the image more visual impact.

Seems unnecessary to crop their bodies in half when their backs are turned - whole shot might have been better. Also, these two look more like boyfriend / girlfriend than siblings. Good focus and lighting though.

The texture of the water and off-center subjects really gets me wondering. Perhaps they're watching the Loch Ness monster come up. Overall good comp. Kudos

Strikes me as more of a boyfriend/girlfriend shot...what siblings do you know that get along well enough to hold hands? LOL Very nice!

I love this. I really like the way you have it cropped, and since it's obvious that this is a picture of children, it does convey family. Good luck.

love the creative approach. But at the same time i am sure you are taking flac for thinking outside the box. I give you credit and a better score for showing me again what photography should be all about.

Other than your title I get no sense that they are siblings or anything remotely family oriented. They could be any two kids holding hands by water. On the other side, it is a nice shot. The clarity is really good and the b/w works very nicely.

Beautiful shot. I like the use of BW & the DOF is very good. The water highlights seem a bit blown out in the upper left, but I love the crop and composition. Nice job. 8

nice photo, I would have thought boy and girlfriend if not for the title.

after first look - I thought boyfriend / girlfriend until; I read the title. I like the composition and cropping here

This photo is unique and I like it quite a bit. However I feel that it is set up because we all know that siblings don't really hold hands, especially if they are that old. I still like it and it is one of the best, I just think it could have been better if they were not holding hands.

VERY NICE> This appeals to my artsy side. You don't need any more of their figure than you put in the shot. Great placement. The textural differences between the water, rocks and legs is perfect in black and white. One of my favorites. 9
