The focus is rather soft and seems to have been centered on the water behind the boy. A faster shutter speed or deeper DOF may have corrected this. The crop above the kid seems a bit too aggressive to me; I'd rather see a bit more headroom.

Good capture, like the expresion on the boys face. Same they seems almost totaly in the shadow. Focus dosent seem right on. Think pure b&w would have been better than the sepia toning but maybe thats just my prefence.

I like the sepia instead of the blue you see in most pool shots. Good composition and emotion.

The sepia doesnt do it for me on this subject. I can imagine the nice blue you would have gotten from the swimming pool. Would have made a nice backdrop.

Nice idea. A little to much light on the water makes the faces appear dark. Not a big fan of color filter.
