 I agree with all the comments about the little magnifier being a distraction. I couldn't find a good antique magnifying glass, so I had to settle. Had this been advanced editting, I would have removed it... oh well.

I like this take on the challenge, very creative. I would have perhaps made the DOF a little shallower here and tried to get the eye a little more centred. You've done fantastically well with your BG. Nice work and great idea.

Well, I did spend al day voting on this challenge. Your pic is my choice for the blue, I just bumped it to 10. Colors, contrast, everything is good. And on top of everything, you had a unique idea. This pic stands out of all the others.

nice idea. secondary magnification in glass distracts. colours a little muted. model's short does not match the cap etc!

I'm laughing cause I did a similar one and it was awful. Yours is really good. The lighting is nicely done. Love the clarity of the eye. Great hat. Great title!!

This one is bound for the home page. You've got the iris, you've got the magnifying glass circle, and the only thing lacking is perhaps a bit of off-centre composition. Might have been better with more negative space to the right, bringing the eye in the lower left 1/3rd of the image...
