the lighting seems a bit harsh and the back of the chair that is out of focus detracts somewhat.

7 - Yes, this is a very good idea. For me, it would be better without a bit of the chair cropped and with a bit more depth to show the other 'furniture'. Good concept.

Good use of light on the wood tones. The composition is good but it just doesn't have the WOW factor for me. Out of the box idea though. Not a flower or bug. Maybe crop out some of the area to the left of the chair.
