| It's a photo that satisfies in many ways, at many scales. As a thumbprint, the beautiful color palette of white, charcoal and pink and the powerful use of space makes the photo compelling. At a larger scale, the details in the umbrella and the figure add interest. And at this scale we see some of the child's features and realize he is wearing goggles on his forhead. The sense of whimsey adds a humorous touch and a bit of pathos. It's really an unusual sort of photo - beautiful, quirky and compelling. Very nice. |

| This is so neat! I love the contrast of the umbrella against the white and also the shadows. It really emphasizes the umbrella. |

| a solid white shirt on the kid would make this shot perfect, then again an all white shirt may just look like the highlights are blown out. so just keep doing what your doing. = ) |

| I like the different approach this photo takes. The virtual single saturations of the blue and pinkish red of the parasol is very effective. Great one. 8 |

| Neat! I love the colors. Such a pretty soft pink in a boy's world. The white background almost looks cloned or painted in. Good use of the challenge. |

| i pretty much like the use of only 3 colors in the photo. white as e base, black 4 e shadows n the bright pink to call 4 attention to the circle.. nice.. but wld hv been better if the excess white has been better crop out of the picture.. |
