This is a great image. I did a slice shot (Stock II)with a thinner slice to let more light/color to pass through but I really like the silhouetteing of the rind here. Nice vignetting on the two corners as well.

I like the fact that there is really no color but yellow. But the left half seems bare: a bit too bare. It is still a nice photo.

I like your concept and I do like yellow but I think maybe a different colored background would set off the shape and color of the lemon better

Care to share your photo secret? I've been wanting to do this. Great shot. It would probably be more dramatic if the croplet was just clinging on ever so slightly. Great use of color. Easily one of my favorites. 10

7 - Nice. More detail on the lemon segments would have been nice. A little too much yellow for me, or perhaps it is just too dominant in the background.

I really like the framing of the subject! I only wish that maybe the slice of the lemon was thinner or the light behind it was stronger so that I could see more detail through the meat of the lemon (ie: the veins, air bubbles). Great original idea!
