I like the white and black division of the background. It is a nice composition. Wish the light on the dandelion was graduated more do the top of the flower seems significantly darker than the background and the lower half significantly brighter that the background. Perhaps a bit more contrast in post-processing? Maybe a bit larger DOF would bring the whole dandelion head into focus - creating more sharp details to contast with the background.

Like how you captured the water. Very nice!

I really like the simplicity of this photo. So original in composition and well shot. I especially like the split colored background. It works wonderfully well with the white flower. For me, some more sharpness on the top part of the flower (where the ends meet the sky) would have made it even better.
Well done!

Unfortunatley it gets lost in the light background.

Nice choice of subject; and I like the drops of moisture.

It seems that great pains were taken to produce a static, centered photo: the equal margins, the vertical stem, the horizon bisecting the photo. Somehow it seems a little too static or contrived.

I would have liked to see this in color. Nice sharpness of the detail.

At first I thought naaa but looking carefully I see a lot of artistic eye here, water didn't do much for it however but a little more contrast but now I really like this shot..

If the subject was sharp it would help this pic tremendously.

Maybe a tad more contrast would show off the detailing better. :~D

I am really drawn to pictures of these plants. I love your gradient look, and the little drops of water. Good job.

The split in the background of white and black is distracting. IMO - a solid background would have helped.
