I don't think the circle stands out enough in this one. And the date is a bit distracting.

I recomend that you lose the date stamp next time.

can't quite make out what it is. frog or something? leaf in front is in the way.

I would suggest cropping in on the eye more for 2 reasons - it will bring the viewers attention to what you want them to see, instead of the large blurry leaf in the center of the image, and will also eliminate the date stamp on the image.

Very cool idea though, and I think that cropping it will greatly improve the image.

I don't understand this image

IMO the leaf in the foreground really disrtacts from the subject. Maybe a closer crop in on her face?

The date function really hurts any image. I'm sure I'm not the first to mention this. Keep trying.

too small and not enough contrast

any way you can turn off the auto date on your camera? major visual distraction.

oh no...the date stamp...

Difficult to see what I'm looking at -- it could have been a lot better without the OOF leaf in front of the subject. Also, the circle (the eye) is pretty small to pick up as a major element of the shot. -- 3

I am guessing this is your first challenge. You are allowed to have a photo up to 640 pixels per side, I would recommend using as many pixels as possible. Also you will want to turn off the date thing in the camera, it is very distracting.

date imprint???

Neat!

a very interesting subject... alas, there are so many things obscuring it. I'm not sure if the date shown in your photograph is allowed according to the basic editing rules (although I'm sure it was done in-camera). Next time try placing your main subject in front of the secondary ones (like the leaf in front here)

I'm sure you've heard it already, but you may want to turn the date feature off on your cam. It adds nothing to the image and I guarantee you wont be selling any images with the date stamp blaring from the side of the image. The least that can be done is crop the thing out if you can't figure how to turn it off.
Second, your image is kind of small. 250x375 pixels. You're allowed to submit up to a 640x640 image, take advantage of that. Otherwise, we can't really see the details in your image to help you out much.
That being said, your focus looks soft on the subject. We are not getting much detail out of the little guy at all. The blurred leaf is a huge distraction as it takes up most of the photo. The shadow from the blurry leaf in the front takes up another great portion of the photo and engulfs it in darkness. Did you use flash? I think attention would be drawn better to the subject without the shadows, without the huge blurry leaf and had the image been bigger. Maybe crop closer to the eye with a larger image? ~Heather~

Sorry, gave you a 4. Good idea, but would have been 'really good' with a closeup of the eye, (if your camera has macro) and better natural lighting. Good luck and keep it up!

no text in the pic ?

The date in the corner is big distraction to me.
