Addendum: I shouldn't assume this is illegal. I did vote it as if it was legal. I just don't like the remnants of whatever editing was used. It looks too strange to me and I can't see or find purpose in those remnants.

The editing was legal (photo was validated). The only reason the remnants were there is because I had to stay within the rules, otherwise I would have removed them too.

Cool eye! There is what looks like a glare (the rainbow spot) in the inner corner - this is some what distracting. Otherwise, I like the clarity. Maybe the light is a tad too much as well. Overall, good job!

The best eye shot in the challenge... nice selective desaturation work.

Great photo, but I think you could do better if you put a black board around your lens to cover your cameras body, and keep it from showin up in the eye. Still, this this gets a big 10!

i like almost everything about this. you can see the flesh color still in spots and the red dots close to the inner eye is distratcting. and on the eyeball itself the color on the white is distracting. Excellent focus 7

The reflection in the subject's eye is distracting. Also the selective desaturation has left some minor color splotches on the skin. Nice effort. 6.

If I wouldn't have been able to see the camera, this would have scored higher.

TEN!! This is superb. Absolutely the most imaginative photograph and executed to perfection. The reflection in the eye is uncanny!!!
