Nice use of blur in the background. The droplet on the top left truely adds to to the composition.

Cool shot.
I would have cropped or focused on just the seed and gotten ride of the web and drop in the upper left.

Nice composition, but somehow the seed(?) looks really flat. I'm not sure if it's the lighting or what, but something feels off.

This is lovely. Love the background and composition. I keep looking for Tinkerbell.

I'm wondering if this shot has been rotated... anyway, it's an excellent compostition, just lacks a little in the sharpness department.

This is an astonishing shot that should place highly. Now I'm off to vote on 1) bugs 2) flowers 3) who knows?

Good luck in the challenge. I think you'll do just fine.

Sweet!. I like the coloring, the almost unseen background and the fact that this is something from nature yet feels other-worldly.

needs cropping to fill the frame, water drops are too heavy for subject, hiding too much detail.
cd have used a black / dark card for backgrnd.
good focus.

Probably my favorite of all, I think that some sort of pendant or other peice of jewlry designed after this would be gorgeous.

8 - Oh, nice capturing of the beauty in nature. 'If only' more detail and focus. Nice and simple, background does not detract, well captured.

Purely subjective reaction: I know water droplets often lend interest, but here there are so many it negates the essential 'airiness' of the seed. Looks cluttered to me.

This is almost like a sparkler of water droplets! I like the muted golden tone in the background. To my eye, it needs a tad more sharpness but I like the simplicity of it very much. The red at the bottom adds a nice touch of contrast to the otherwise monochromatic theme.

Wonder if it's hanging only on the web? The soft effect of the background is really nice here..

Excellent capture. Contrast could have been a little better to make it pop more IMHO. 9.
