I really like the composition of this shot (albeit it is a little busy, but I think that adds to the "real" feel of the image). The lighting may be a little harsh (IMHO) and you might want to bring out a little more color. Venice is a beautiful city and I love the way the boats are cropped (the one you're in in the front and the one on the side showing the pole). Very nice shot.
