NP. The site is Digital Photo Contest. Let me try to remember the process and I'll get back to you on it. I just never save these as PSD files as I should so I have to depend on my waning memory.

Thanks Robert for showing me the original photo. What is the other site name? I would like to take a look.
Would you mind giving me an idea of how you went from the original photo to your final painted version. |

Thanks PhotoRyno. I appreciate it. On another site that I participate on you can see the original image on all the images that are posted. It always fascinates me what people start with and what they end up with. Here is the original image just resized and slight USM:
