This creepy little guy was on the outside my office window, I dont have a macro lense, so I did my best with my 18-55mm lens, he is only a bout a 1/4" in size and I took the shot through double pane glass, he was on the outside of the building.

not close enough to see the details a macro - or near-macro should have. A bit dark too.

Super detail on the subject and especially on the web. The compostion is fine vertically but horizontally it is a bit too centered. The framing of the bacground is nice and I think losing some of it on the right and cropping in from there a bit would improve the compostion. Regardless the exposure and detail are great and the composition is more of a nit than anything major.

Lighting is not sufficient. Spider is not in focus...

Nice focus. I think more light would bring the details out in the spider better though.

Interesting shot.
A little more contrast could def help alot, the spider tends to get lost in the background since it is a little flat overall.
A more interesting crop could also help i.e. not directly centered.

Nice subject and I like the background colors. Subject could be just a tad more clear and well lit. Maybe move the crop down a bit so there's more space in front of it?

The background blurred framing helps make this photo.

6 - Good concept but, for me, better if closer and more centered.
