Far from the road to nowhere, it looks very much like the road to that mountain. My eye is really drawn in and I think that the cloud above is a masterstroke. |

Leading lines or curves generally have two purposes. One is to lead the viewer into the scene. The other is to lead you toward the main subject. It is most effective if they come in from the lower left because that is the natural direction humans visually scan a picture from so are easiest to pick up.
Roads make great leading lines. This directs attention into the scene as all good leading lines should. |

I seriously doubt this road actually leads nowhere... nice picture, although I'd have cropped out more of the sky... it seems you were trying to keep the whole cloud, but I think it detracts from the road, which is supposed to be the subject |

It's curious, the road and mountains feel like an old-time photo while the sky is nice and crisp making it feel brand new. Very good. I'd like to see the colour version. |

tired of seeing roads going to nowhere in this challenge, but it is a very well composed picture and love the black and white usage. |
