I like the subject matter, the tones and the composition for the most part. Judging by the edges of the tower against the sky, it looks to be oversharpened. I think that's what is causing the noise in the sky too. Depending on what format you shot this with, the original could be sharpened at approx. 125%, 0.5 to 1.0 Radius (0.5 for JPG, 1.0 uncompressed TIF), 0 Threshold as a good starting point. Then the re-sized version could be re-sharpened using approx. half the Radius. Hope this is helpful.

Well composed , while I am by no means an expert in photoshopping things I think this photo has a ton of potential that hasn't yet been realized. I think by playing with levels and textures you could get an excellent shot out of this.

At first i thought I would like to see the clouds more in focus, but as I looked at it I really started to like how the subject really pops out with almost a 3D effect.

i love the compsistion to this one. But i think if you chose color, then it would bring out the rust on the tower, and contrasting it with the b lue sky would have been great.

Excellent image. I really like this one, and I think your composition & decision to go B&W are perfect.

I remember my photography teacher don't use color unless the image needs it. To me, this image needs it. There is a lot of grey in this image and I can't help it think how wonderful this would have looked with the rusty ol' tower against a nice bright blue sky with a few puffy white clouds drifting by. It's a very nice image, but I truely think this would have been much stronger in color. <6>
