 A lot work in Photoshop and Illustrator!

In case it's not clear and my wife is just being nice to me:

The object in the middle/upper/right is a camera. I pixelated it to show a feeling of digital-ness.

The rings of color are supposed to be lens flare.

I colored the "a digital photography contest" to show that digital photography is varied and full of color and diversity.

I kept the ribbon, but thought that these fonts worked with my concept more than the originals.

I like the idea, and I really like the light refraction circles, but the half-tone camera doesn't work for me. It's a little hard to figure out what it's supposed to be and all the dots are just a bit too busy/cluttered.

Don't know about the halftone dots, or if you needed two rainbow effects, but I like the overall design.

Very clever entry..I like the color effects of the background and the way they seem to end up in the colored lettering. I like the abstract camera . A well balanced piece.(10)

Cool idea and nicely done. Feels a little unbalanced in composition to me. I am definitely not keen on choice of font.
