What an awe-inspiring place that must be in person. I've never been to California, much less Yosemite, but it's on my list of places to see before I die. This image has wonderful composition. The movement of the waterfall brings the eye down to the lovely trees, and the diagonal of the mountainside gives it depth. I like the b/w treatment as well. Have you tried a boost of the contrast? It might cause the water to blow out, so don't mind me...I'm just a sucker for high contrast b/w. But regardless, this is truly a wonderful capture, worthy of printing. |
