Interesting theme, I wish the rings were in focus.

does the blur mean that hate is winning?

I would have prefered the focus on the rings

I would have perferred that the reflection be in focus, and not the handle, since the lighting is on the rings, and not the details of the knife.

Nice use of light. Found rings (?) being out of focus distracting

I like the idea behind this picture. Technically, I think a bit more depth of focus would be good. I understand the emphasis is on the handle, but the way it's cropped you notice the out of focus part of the blade more than you notice the hilt. Also, a bit more light on teh handle to draw attention to the detailing would help as well.

Very cool shot, really wish the rings were more in focus though...

The reflection would be much easier to make out if the focus was on the blade not the handle.

I like contrasts presented visually. This is an interesting take. Nicely shot with great attention to detail.

Fits challenge= 5
Color/lighting=1
DOF/focus=0
Wow factor/uniqueness=1
Attractiveness=0

While you did meet the challenge topic your main focus seems to be the handle not the metal where your main lighting is, the rings in the blade are too blurred to be a major element although they want to be.

Good luck

The handle's in focus, but the rings on the blade are not and that detracts from the overall effect and your message, IMO.

I really love the idea you had here. You packed alot of meaning into the photo. Im not sure if I like the focusing though. Maybe if the rings and blade were a little more in focus? In any case I love it. 9

I would rather see the blade and ring more in focus than the handle. I really like the idea.

IMO...I think this may have been more effective if the wedding bands were more in focus and not the handle of the knife...not sure...also... I keep turning my head to the right to look at this image which seems to make the focus a bit more pleasing.

Nice title. If you could situate the rings to be in focus and the handle be better lit, this would be better.

The focus is not sharp on the ring? Needs more DOF? Good luck

u should have focused on the ring instead of the knife. have a tight focus on the ring's reflection while the knife (being the HUGE object) can be left OOF.
