| I wanted to do something similar for this challenge, but decided against it because I thought there would be a lot of them. The idea is great. I really like the way you took both flowers at the same angle. The yellow border works nicely for this as well. I think that the focus and clarity are good, and the lighting is also good. my only suggestion would be to maybe been able to get them with the lighting the same on both flower, and bud, but don't know how possible that would have been. Good luck in the challenge. |

| The yellow boarder is a bit overpowering. Something more mild would be better, or maybe just plain black for contrast. |

| Neat series, very bright! The white background works very well with the green bud, but not as well for the yellow open tulip, it seems on the stark side. I think I would have liked the leaves more evenly portrayed, too. 7 Rob the Swash |

| I like each individual image. The focus on the bud could be a little stronger, and the tulip is a little overexposed. The shadows created are nice. My main problem is the fact that the two subjects are SO disproportioned, that they don't meld together very well as one final image. |

| The yellow is too bright on the right and I do not think the yellow border is a good idea. For this kinfd of work I think as well it's better to let the picture 'breathe' by leaving space around them. |
