| I think the central composition here is a little bit boring. If it was closer cropped, it would make more of the explosion of petals, but all the busy green background diminishes that effect. |

| I did yellow flower on green background too for my shot. Just different flower. lol. I like the yellow on green. I think it makes the subject really stand out from the background. The angle and framing/cropping are ok. The border looks good with the shot as well. Very nice focus and clarity. I like the detail in the center of the dandilion. ~Heather~ |

| Very simple but very effective at the same time. The shallow DOF makes your flower stand out even more. The only thing which bothers me a little is that your flower is so centered. |

| A little to head on and center for my tastes. Other than that it looks pretty good. |

nice color, focus.. dof ...
might suggest a bit tigher crop to eliminate the excess green around it. |

| Very nice portrayal of colors and nicely focused. To me the DOF makes this dandilion look extremely tall or like the blossom is sitting on a glass over the lawn. Messes up my depth perception. I know that some have long stems...but maybe if this picture showed part of the stem in focus, it would make it look more in porportion. |

| Centering the suject works well here as it has a good contrast in colour and texture to the unfocussed background. Good framing. |
