| This is the only picture I've seen of this and for that reason it scores well in my mind. I remember learning about fauna in school and that was one of the first things they'd teach as to how flowers would 'breed' as such. The picture its self, as fantastic as clarity of the bee and everything, does not thrill me because of dark background. I would have preffered to see more of the flower. When I think of fauna I think beautiful - the background here does not come across that way. Still gave it an eight though. |

| Good title :-) This is a very good macro, very detailed and sharp. The shallow DOF is also very effective. The main subject in this image is the fly which isn't flora and makes it difficult for me to give the pic a 10, which is what it is worth photographically. A 9 okay? |
