Taken at work with the work camera. This guy is a plumber, and just before this shot was taken, he was cutting out the existing floor drains in the floor of the auto shop in the school we are renovating. I was walking by taking progress photos, he stood up, and yelled 'You gonna take my picture?'...and I said 'Yeah.'

Post-processing involved a crop to remove the date stamp, USM, conversion to greyscale, levels and curves to amp up the contrast, then converting to quadtone.

For those of you who don't know any better, the title refers to catcalls that construction workers are notorious for making. This guy isn't really the type to make those calls, but the pose he struck sure is loaded up with bravado, so the title fits...

Here is the original version for those of you who want to know...

Thanks for watching!

I find your post processing skills very impressive. You created a great mood, one which I could barely have seen in the original. Thanks for sharing.

A little dark. On this one, a little fill in flash (place a handkerchief or some other transparent fabric over it to decrease overexposure) would have improved the image of the man a lot.

Really cool shot. I might have said to cut some of the left side, but I like the reflection on the ground there. Great job.

I like the the picture very much, but would have liked it not to be quite so dark. Perhaps a tighter crop to lose some of the free space on the left hand side.

Nice shot! A lot of emotion to this one. (Good choice to tilt the camera angle as well. It fits in nicely with the man's pose.)

I don't understand the title. He's holding a circular saw.

Composition a bit too centered for my taste but otherwise pretty good, good choice to make this b/w and I like the tones in it.
