I like this photo quite a bit. It's really a "sea" of tulips!

The composition is good with the diagonal "lines" of color leading your eye into the picture. The focus and depth of field seem very good. Shooting at 1/250 second was a good idea to combat the effects of blurring that wind would have caused. This certainly is "flora" so you've met that part of the challenge. The main "WOW" factor for this photo is the brilliant colors and your composition. I wish there was MORE of a "WOW" somehow, but it's pretty good as is. I would crop the black and white from the top. The extra colors there tend to pull away from the good composition you've got.

Bob Mahan

We pronounce it "tyoolip". Nice colours, a bit on the small side though.

Wonderful clamour of colors here. DOF is appropriate, too. Almost too bright to look at. Perhaps some darker tones would set things off nicely.

Originality in your title, priceless! Your shot of the tulips is very nice, you have used the rule of thirds great, the yellow tulips at the lower third of the photo leads my eye across the photo, congrats. Gallatin

I like the layered effect you have created here, especially using these colors which complement each other very well. With tulips you can never go wrong :-)

A lot of us had a "problem" with the wind...nice job using it to your advantage.

Lovely colors. I like the way you have set this picture up with the line of red tulips across the top of the picture. and the yellow and pink ones in a diagonal. Gives a feeling of depth.

Wow!!! Fantastic!!! Where did you find this! I'm in two minds about the croping top right though. The splash of white definitely adds to the picture, but the black seems to take away from the beautiful colors. Gave it 9

Great combination of colors here. Perfectly exposed and you've captured some nice details in the petals and leaves.

Great composition of the flowers, with the red row and the top, then the two others. One thing is you should have used the full 640 pixels. Nice shot!

lovely colours, my eye is constantly drawn out of the picture though to the left upper corner. A lightly different angle would have made this better
