I love candid street scenes. I was going for an album cover feel for this shot. Kinda reminds me of the cover for the 1979 Bob Dylan "Street Legal" album. I like the way the doorway frames the model, also I like the lines in the blinds as well as on the brick wall.

Hope this does well

A great urban frame would have loved an extra inch past the left toe, but all in all you have delivered a wonderful image. Bumping to 7.

I really like this. Your frame is so subtle and yet is such an important element in the photo. You've also managed to capture some interesting textures and detail. The model seems secondary to everything else going on in the picture and that makes this photo work, she completes it.

An interesting, thought-provoking photograph. The frame helps to suggest possible stories about the subject ... Is she waiting for someone? Her place or theirs? Or has she lost her key? Who knows? But it IS interesting, and a pleasing, offhand composition.

Nice choice with the sepia. The textures of the stone and blinds in the door are a nice backdrop to the woman. Well done.

this is a very nice image as well. I'm afraid many people will score it poorly beause it is not framed by "nature", but personally, I don't think that is what the challenge meant. I like it a lot. I love all the different textures and tones. I hope you do well. <9>

Imaginative, and I like how she is partially "out of frame", adds appeal

I've looked at this photo several times now and have yet to see the frame. It's a nice portrait with excellent clarity, contrast and the lack of color really makes this photo unique but in my opinion it does not meet the challenge. <5>

Nice composition and light, but I feel the reddish/sepia toning isn't quite working. Purer black and white, with a bit more emphasis on contrasts would have been very effective for me, I think. 7 for the available textures and posing.
