This is part of the Yusanji temple area. There were so many structures with interesting framing devices, and I didn't think I would choose this one, but I did because, upon seeing the other photos I'd taken, I felt they weren't as strong. Too bad what's framed isn't very bright in this pic. Ah well, sometimes you have to work with what you've got!

PP: Dodged the dark inner area. Levels and slight amount of Curves. A bit of Burning around sides, so they wouldn't distract from main. Clone to get rid of a couple spots. UM.

Well, while this is striking, I find it to be more of a picture of a frame rather than a subject naturally framed. Still nice.
