I like the view here. I wonder how it would look without the two lamp columns (or at least half-columns) either side of the arch.

Is there some distortion in this shot? I like this idea a lot but somehow things seem bent outward when I look at the doric columns...

I think the subjecct is too small for the frame- It's almost as thought the frame is fighting to be the subject. But I love this shot anyway!

I dunno how it'd look, but I'd like to see how this might be without the person. You've got the structure in the background framed by the arch, so it would qualify, and I feel like the dark figure in the bottom is weighing the composition down, and keeps me from exploring the interesting columns and such of the structure in the background.
