Hello

Meets the challenge for sure, nice to see something different and more wild then most shots submitted.

Composition wise, it's pretty good with a nice blue background. The background does have a bit of noise in it and might be improved with neat image.

Contrast and lighting is good, looks mid-dayish which suited this subject well.

As far as focus is concerned, it is lacking any sharp focal point and is probably the main reason this didn't score higher.

Good luck with future challenges and thank you for giving us the oppurtunity to see this unusual plant.

Neat. A very different take on the challenge. The forms of these flowers are kind of evil and insidious.

I like the background in this shot... it creates nice contrast, but the focus on the subject is slightly soft and there is not a good single focal point of interest.. - setzler
