I really like this picture - I think it may have been more intense if you made the chess piece in color - gave you an 8

Gave it a '7' because it meets the challange and it was a well taken photo - subject in good focus with background blur. I give the highest rating to photos I would consider hanging on my wall, maybe this is a tough challenge for that criteria.

One of the better chess shots, helped by the huuuuuge chess pieces used here!

Lovely and crisp, well composed and it meets the challenge. I like the use of duotone (or is it regular B&W?). Congrats on a good shot. A 7 from me.

I am not considering the title to the challenge and judging images on how well images meet the challenge description visually....
