It's a spectacular image, but I'm not perceiving those dots as the kind of grains the challenge seems to be about.

this is one crazy picture! i love the textures here! the blue looks a bit oversaturated to my eyes... still, I give it a 9.

I've seen this trick before. This is the second time around for me on this one and I still wan't more. This makes for a fantastic shot. It will be a good long while before I get bored with these. Very nice abstract feel, wonderfull colors and lighting. The POV that you chose works perfectly. Very nice shot 9

Love the abstract quality of this photo. The simplicity of blue, black and white accentuate the DOF. Good use of the pattern to draw-the-eye.-- 10

Awesome picture. So smooth, sharp, detailed. Great pattern, and I like the lack of excess distracting elements in the frame. Only thing is, I don't get the sense of 'granular' from this.

I really like this shot. Very creative interpretation of the challenge, and a great execution. My only complaint would be that the sky is a little too cloudy, but I suspect you don't have much control over that ;)
