This was my back yard after an ice storm. That is my daughter in the picture and yes, I know she is smiling. Those huge tree branches, suprisingly, didn't even touch the swing set. (Two smaller branches on each side of the slide supported the weight of the large branch.) Anyway, it was hard to get a pic of her NOT smiling - she (and my other kids, and their friends) loved having that branch there to climb on. They were a little disappointed when we had the mess cleaned up.

Nicely done -- I like the way her jacket is the same red as the blue-yellow-red thing.

your title makes a virtue out of a very cluttered composition

the girls looks happy to me, she doesn't show as she's suffering about the "storm damage"

Shouldn't the little girl be sad that her playground is damaged? Anyway nice composition, the angle works well here.

Gosh, I don't know about this shot at all. It looks like a snapshot, but then it's too well composed for that. Like the contrast of the lines of the swing and slide with the broken tree, like the angle. Everything slightly 'wrong' by the accepted 'rules', but it works. i bet this is one of those shots that you really like and can't quite work out why. Or maybe I'm under-estimating you.

CRUNCH!! This in CO? Seen plenty of that last month. Nice representation. The young lady's face is a touch out of focus

Destruction and a smiling face. Irony?

Good shot but the little girl looks way too happy
