 Got a big cardboard box, made holes in it. Put thalf of the box outside with the setting sun. Used a smake machine to accentuate the rays. Loved the results. Edited by resizing, exposure /lighting, change hue, reduce noise and sharpen. Also took off some small spots with smart erase.

I like this...the rays of light hitting the subject are interesting, as are the shadows and holes in the wall. It has a soft, contemplative look...8

Great shot, love the level of lighting/exposure. Only suggestion I have would be to have clean cut holes rather than the jagged/torn ones.

I like your idea here. Even with some of the light spots overblown this works very well. I think it's because the key elements of his face have detail - his eyes and mouth. And light is definitely one of the subjects here.

Nice subject, focus and catch of light. Only down side are the hot spots on the cheek and elbow. Still ranks a 10 from me.
