The background color does not play well with the color of any of the colorful blobs.

I think you could have cropped off the last 1 inch or so to make this picture more striking.

I love the colours, the contrast with the background, and the lack of horizon - great shot. Not quite sure if it fits with the challenge, but close enough.

The colors are nice but I'm not quite sure what kind of grains I'm looking at. Perhaps it would've been good to include that in the title.
